National Chi Nan University Announcement on the Revision of Guidelines for Incentives for International Students

The "National Chi Nan University Guidelines for Incentives for International Students" have been revised and approved at the 618th Administrative Meeting on January 21, 2025. The key updates (highlighted in red in the document) include:

1. Newly Revised Application Requirements for Applicants:

Current students enrolled in the university’s “Chinese-taught programs” must complete at least 20 hours of Chinese language courses offered by the university’s Language Teaching Center or pass the basic level of the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL Level 2) or an equivalent internationally recognized Chinese proficiency certification.

2. Revised Scholarship Application Period:

The updated scholarship application period is from April 15 to April 30 and from October 15 to October 30 each year.

3. The newly added Scholarship Application Documents Required:

Students enrolled in Chinese-taught programs must submit proof of completing at least 20 hours of Chinese language courses offered by the university’s Language Teaching Center or passing the basic level of the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL Level 2) or the equivalent of an internationally recognized Chinese proficiency certification.
